Privacy policy
This website doesn’t ask you for any data. We only handle what you choose to send us when you write, and only for what you ask.
Updated
In short
- Forms
- None. The website doesn’t ask you for data.
- If you write
- We use your email and what you tell us to reply and, if you want, prepare a proposal.
- Analytics
- Switched off. When we turn it on, it will be cookie-free and only show overall statistics.
- Advertising
- None. We don’t sell your data or use it to advertise to you.
- Your rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data whenever you like.
01Who is responsible for your data
- Controllers
- Miguel and Alejandro (Zimplea), in Málaga
Zimplea isn’t incorporated as a company yet. Once it is, we’ll update this policy with its details.
02What data we handle and why
There are no forms, user accounts or ads on this website. Your data only reaches us in these two cases:
When you visit the website
- What data
- The technical logs every visit creates: IP address, browser, page requested, date and time.
- Why
- To serve the website, keep it secure and detect abuse.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you write to us
- What data
- Your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Why
- To reply and, if you ask, prepare a proposal. If we work together, to run the project.
- Legal basis
- Your request for information or a quote (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, if we work together, the contract.
We don’t make automated decisions about you or build profiles from your data.
03Booking a call
Calls are booked on Cal.com, which opens in a new tab. Whatever you fill in there is collected by Cal.com and passed on to us so we can prepare the call. Cal.com also handles it under its own privacy policy, which you can read on its website.
04Analytics
We don’t measure visits today: no analytics tool is switched on.
When we turn it on, it will be a cookie-free tool (Plausible or Umami) that only shows overall statistics, such as how many people view each page, without following you from site to site. Before that, we’ll update this policy with the provider’s name and where it stores data.
05How long we keep it
- Your emails and booking details: for as long as we need to reply to you and, if we work together, for as long as the law requires. Once they’re no longer needed, we delete them.
- Technical visit logs: for as long as Cloudflare, our hosting provider, keeps them.
06Who else sees it
We don’t sell your data or hand it to anyone for advertising. It only goes through the providers we need for the website, email and bookings to work:
Cloudflare, Inc.
- What for
- Hosting and securing the website.
- Where
- United States, with servers around the world.
Microsoft (Microsoft 365)
- What for
- Email for zimplea.com (Outlook).
Cal.com
- What for
- Booking calls. It opens in a new tab, outside this website.
We may also have to share it with courts or authorities when the law requires it.
07Data outside the European Union
Cloudflare is a US company. According to its own documentation, it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and also uses the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, the safeguards the GDPR requires for sending data outside the EU.
Where Microsoft and Cal.com handle data is explained in their own privacy policies.
08Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Show you what data we hold about you (access).
- Correct it if it’s wrong (rectification).
- Delete it (erasure).
- Stop using it, or only keep it without using it (objection and restriction).
- Give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere (portability).
Write to us saying what you need and we’ll reply within one month at most, the deadline the law sets. If we have reasonable doubts that it’s really you, we may ask for something to confirm it.
If you think we haven’t handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
